Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor is a Harvard-trained neuroanatomist, who keynotes throughout the country. She is committed to educating the public about the beauty and resiliency of the human brain. At age 37, Dr. Taylor experienced a rare form of stroke, and chronicled this experience in her recent best selling book My Stroke of Insight, A Brain Scientist’s Personal Journey. For the past ten years, Dr. Taylor has been successfully rebuilding her brain – from the inside out. In May, Dr. Taylor was recognized by Time Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people. She has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and National Public Radio.

Dr. Taylor will share her inspiring story of personal experience with us and explain what happened, how it happened, how she continues to overcome the effects caused to her body and how each of us can train our brain to do what we want it to do.
