Andrea enjoys working with children and upon graduation plans to enter a pediatric dental residency program. This will allow her the opportunity to both teach and learn from the children she serves, and continue to challenge her to be the best pediatric dentist she can be.

Ashley Monfreda

Ashley is a certified athletic trainer currently pursuing her Master’s degree in athletic training. She works as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Athletes’ Performance in north Phoenix.

Mia Pozzanghera

During the summer of 2009, Mia traveled around Israel for 10 days on a Birthright trip. She visited the Western Wall, the Dead Sea, hiked Masada, and toured the cities of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. After graduating from ASHS, Mia plans to work as a pediatric audiologist in a children’s hospital, school district or doctor’s office.

Catie is pursuing a Doctorate of physical therapy degree and has wanted to be a physical therapist since she was in high school and suffered many soccer injuries.

Nick Hardin

In addition to medicine, Nick is passionate about snowboarding, waterskiing, boating, and filmmaking. He owns his own production studio that specializes in wedding and graduation videos and specialty commercials. After graduation Nick plans to return to the Northwest to practice.

While growing up, Yushiu and her family lived in several countries before settling in Southern California. In addition to being a first year osteopathic medical student, she also spends her time working on gender and sexuality health activism with the American Medical Student Association.
