Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health ~ ASDOH

 Truong_Head-Shot Tuyet-Phi (Phi) Truong – Tuyet is a current dental student at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH). She graduated with a major in General Biology at the University of California, San Diego. she has volunteered with multiple organizations such as UCSD Best Buddies Program-working with intellectual disabled students, UCSD Cancer Center, Red Cross Meals on Wheels, Children’s Hospital, various local community health clinics, and through UCSD Flying Samaritans has helped run a free health clinic for 2 years in Ensenada, Mexico. In addition, she has also published over 10 scientific articles during her affiliations with The Scripps Research Institute and Stanford University. ASDOH’s philosophy of serving the underserved resonated with her and is a major reason why she chose ASDOH for her dental education. She currently holds several leadership roles with on-campus organizations such as the ASDOH Chapter of the American Student Dental Association and the ASDOH Chapter of the American Association of Women Dentists. she feels very fortunate to be attending ASDOH and extremely blessed to be able to achieve a career path in dentistry that will provide her with the ability to help serve her community.

 

♦ Arizona School of Health Sciences ~ ASHS

 Kim_Vu_Pic (1) Kim Vu – Kim is a current first year student in the Physician Assistant program. She received her BS in Applied Biological Sciences from ASU’s College of Technology and Innovation. Prior to entering the PA program at ATSU, Kim spent most of her time volunteering at local hospitals and clinics. When she isn’t hitting the books, Kim likes to sew and cook with her family. after completion of the PA program, she hopes to stay in Arizona to work in primary care and dermatology.

 

♦ School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona ~ SOMA

 Leigh Ann Photo IMG_3699 (3) Leigh Anne Costanzo –Leigh Anne is a second year SOMA student. Prior to medical school, she worked as an RN for over 20 years with her clinical experience ranged from adult and neonatal patients in critical care. Later, she applied her experience in the health insurance field, where she was a leader in navigating health care reform. During her first year at SOMA, Leigh Anne was the Director of Journal Club for the Internal Medicine Interest Group and was a member of the Family Practice Interest Group, Health Disparities Interest Group, OMM Club, and Student Interest Group for Neurology. She volunteered at the ACT Health Fair in Phoenix, the Tzu Chi Foundation Community Health Fair, Women of ATSU Sim-Man experience and Sunshine Acres Sports Physcal Day, as well as being captain of the SOMA Relay for Life team. Recently she was named a student Trustee for SOMA on the AOMA Board. Leigh Anne has two adults sons in California and lives in Mesa with her partner.
